National Policies

Piracy, kidnapping, assassination, all things I had never contemplated as even being considered as overt policy of the United States of America. Yet here we are.

Boats, not ships, but boats are targeted by missiles and drones to protect American lives.  Now, these water traversing vehicles are incapable of reaching U.S. shores but, apparently, represent a mortal threat to 25,000 American lives per vehicle. This is according to the President and the Secretary of Secretary of Homeland Security. There is no evidence offered but we are expected to accept as gospel accusations as truth and the deprivation of anything resembling due process to be acceptable.

According to the President of the U.S., the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro is a corrupt head of state and directing the production and distribution of drugs via cartels worldwide.  Therefore, the only action available to the U.S. is military action, declared to be law enforcement, to invade and kidnap the President of a sovereign nation.

Then, in order to save the citizens of Iran, it became necessary to engage in internationally coordinated acts of warfare. In order to protect the citizens of Iran from the ravages of  Ayatollah Ali Khamenie  and his henchmen, it is blatantly obvious we must kill hundreds and no doubt to become thousands of those at-risk civilians. Of course, collateral damage is unavoidable result of combat in urban areas. However, those deaths will only follow once we have assassinated the leadership. So, priorities.

These policies and acts are not the result of some maniacal, unhinged individual who has chosen malfeasance in the performance of their duties.  These actions are not pursued by a William Calley.  Rather, these are acts perpetrated by the Commander in Chief of the world's most formidable military body.
